Korea Unlimited Rail Pass: How to get unlimited rides for tourists

One of the best way to save transportation expenses when in Korea is to avail their Unlimited Korea Rail Pass or KR Pass during your visit. With this pass, you can take as many rides as you need to over 80 routes and 600 stations all over Korea.

Who Can Avail the Korea Unlimited Rail Pass for Tourist

The unlimited pass is available to all foreign national with a non-Korean passport. You can take unlimited train rides to almost every Korail trains for a number of consecutive days or any flexible number of days. This means you can choose which days you will and will not use your unlimited pass.

How Much Does it Cost

According to the official website of Korail, you can choose from four different packages:

2 Day Select Pass (You will choose which day to use it) for 121,000 Won or approximately 5,326 Pesos

3 Consecutive Day Pass for 138,000 Won or approximately 6,142 Pesos

4 Day Select Pass (you will choose the days) for 193,000 Won or approximately 8,781 Pesos

5 Consecutive Day Pass 210,000 Won or approximately 9,597 Pesos

It is important to note that the days you choose for the select pass must be within 10 days.  If you ask me, I recommend choosing the consecutive pass if you are on a budget. You just need to make sure you ready an itinerary that will make the most out of your everyday trips. Don't be afraid to explore and travel from one city to another. Korea is a beautiful place so take advantage of it!

Where Can I use It

However, you also have the option to purchase your unlimited rail pass via Klook.
