5 Things You MUST ALWAYS Bring With You Abroad

Whether it's your first time abroad or your nth time, I think you would agree that these 5 items must be in your luggage when you go outside the country. These are items that are either hard to find abroad or when you do - can be very expensive.

Medicines

First in our list are your medicines. This includes fever, cough and colds, diarrhea, muscle pain, a pain reliever for tooth pain, and other medicines you always use in your daily life. Depending on the country you will visit, they offer a  different kind of medicine that may not be compatible with your body. So instead of getting better, you could feel worst when you take a medicine your body is not used to.

Sanitary Napkin and Shaving Kits

Feminine napkins and shaving kits are two of the things our team always forget to bring abroad. Not only are they sometimes hard to find but can also be too expensive than what we use in our home country. There was even a time when we all forgot to bring a comb and we searched all around TST of Hong Kong and we couldn't find one! Not even at 7 11!

Printed Copy of Your hotel, flight, activities reservations

It is very important that you have all your reservations printed on a paper when going abroad. Some places still do not accept digital copies so you might have to search for a printing place abroad before you can avail your reservation. I also recommend having it printed in multiple copies, one for each of your companions, except for kids. This is because immigration might ask to see the copy and what will you do when the person holding the copy has already been through and can't go back to give it to you.

International Power Plug Adaptor

Next is the power plug adaptor. Since each country has their own standard power plug sockets, you will most likely need an adaptor to be able to plug your electronics. So it is necessary that you bring your own or suffer the consequences of finding a store that actually sells one. Although sometimes your hotel offers one but prepare for the overpricing.

Memory Card, Powerbank and a Monopod/tripod

Last but not the least are our camera or phone accessories so we can always get the best shots of ourselves or the place when abroad. This includes a memory card, power bank, a monopod for selfie lovers and a tripod for groups.
