Getting Up Close and Personal with Jack Skellington and his Friends
If there's one thing we loved about our experience in Disneyland's Halloween celebration is the chance to relive "Nightmare before Christmas" movie this year! We tried the "Journey to Halloween Town" attraction and it was really like visiting Jack's Halloween Town" and met many of the characters from the movie, including Sally, Oogie Boogie, the Mayor and of course Jack Skellington.
Our most memorable moment is when Sally asked one of us to help her make a poison for Dr. Finkelstein!
Get Free Candies at the Festival Gardens
As an adult, we never really get to go trick or treating to receive free candies but not in Disneyland. Whether you are a kid or a kid at heart, you can go trick or treating and get FREE Halloween Mickey candies and marhmallows! And what makes the trick or treat fun is you also get to meet Disney characters in Halloween costumes in this area during the day. At night, a Disney villain character visits the area.
Villain's Night Out! Chapter 3
2018 is the third year that Disney villains come and take over the park during the Halloween season. This is the only time of the year when the baddest and the most wicked Disney villain celebrate the season and have a parade during the night. This year, we met the Queen of Hearts, Jafar, the Evil Queen, Cruella and even Maleficent!
Tips and Tricks
- I recommend getting a 2-Day pass during Halloween season so you can take your time to try all the rides and watch all three parades.
- Avail the Disney 3 in 1 meal coupon to get huge discounts on your meals.
- Sign up for their free internet and get limited time vouchers when you buy Disney merchandise
- When you line up to meet a Disney character, don't forget to ask for an autograph too!
