Visiting Shenzen, China is Just a Train Away

You probably already explored Macau when you first visited Hong Kong but it would be a big loss if you will not visit Shenzen too. One reason why many tourist love Shenzen is because it is so much cheaper compared to HK and Macau. One of the favorite shopping place to Shenzen is in Louho commercial city where more than 700 shops are selling a range of items at jaw dropping price.

To visit Shenzen from Hong KOng, just take the East Rail Line to Lok Ma Chau or Lo Wu stations. Choose Lo Wu if you want to visit Lou Ho shopping center and Lok Ma Chau if you wish to find a good hotel to stay in.

Visit Theme Parks during Halloween or Christmas Season

One of the best times to visit theme parks in Hong Kong are during the Halloween and Christmas season. This is the time where the whole theme park is in character based on what season it is. During the Halloween season, Disney is decorated mainly by your favorite Disney villain like Ursula, Cruella de Ville, and Jack of Nightmare before Christmas! If he is your favorite Disney character, this is probably the only time you get to see him in Disney. During the Christmas season, even Ocean park dresses up for the season and makes every corner of the theme park as happy and as colorful as it can be.

Visit During Chinese New Year

Another good time to visit Hong Kong is during New Year or Chinese New Year. This is the time where everyone in Hong Kong go to specific spots of the city to view beautiful fireworks. Everyone is dressed up and excited to for the New Year countdown. And did I mention Christmas is also a time where many shops go on sale. Its not as big as the summer but it is the next best thing.
